Returning: Fear the Walking Dead

Season 8 resumes with six new episodes later this month.

Fear the Walking Dead resumes with the six-episode second instalment of Season 8 later this month.

It stars James, Dickens, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Austin Amelio, Christine Evangelista, Karen David, Jenna Elfman and Rubén Blades.

Season 8 begins after the conclusion of Season 7, when Morgan’s (Lennie James) and Madison’s (Kim Dickens) hopes to rescue Mo from PADRE did not go as planned. Now, Morgan, Madison and the others they brought to the island are living under PADRE’s cynical rule. With our characters demoralised and dejected, the task of reigniting belief in a better world rests with the person Morgan and Madison set out to rescue in the first place — Morgan’s daughter, Mo.

Executive produced by Gimple, Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, Michael Satrazemis and David Alpert and is produced by AMC Studios.

Weekly from Monday October 23 on Binge / 8:30pm Showcase

  1. Sorry I am loving this season as a perfect way to finish the show. Also appreciating that Jenna Elfmann has now been playing June as long as she was playing Dharma in Dharma and Greg

  2. Once Morgan leaves and Madison returns as the central character for the first time since season 3, the trailer suddenly looks amazing! The first three seasons were great, but the show has gone downhill since then. Team Madison, all the way!

  3. This is the show’s last remaining episodes so hopefully after putting long time TWD fans through some of the worst scripted content of the past decade, they can somehow salvage a worthy send off. Unlikely, but we will see. At least notorious sad sack Morgan has gone now so there is hope! It’s especially baffling what the creatives have done with this show and how far down the hole it is when you consider how good the Maggie and Negan and Daryl spin-off shows have been.

    1. I agree. I’ll be glad to see this through to its final destination and then delete the lot. It’ll join Manifest in my garbage bin of history.
