Television critic Mitch McTaggart returns for another hilarious, poignant and sobering look back at the year that was on our TV screens. From panned biopics to baffling programming choices, all the way to the fallout of a joke on live television, it certainly was a year we’ll never forget.

  1. Just last night I reactivated Binge just for the new season of Hell’s Kitchen and was desperately trying to find another show to catch up on to validate that very high $18/month fee. (Yes, I’ve already devoured White Lotus, House of the Dragon etc). Decided to finally check out S1 of The Back Side Of Television and I’m hooked. McTaggart’s wry, passionate yet satirical style is one I feel has been missing from our screens for a while now. Would love to see this show on 10.
