Returning: Love on the Spectrum (US)

Second season of unique dating season based on an Aussie format begins.

Season 2 of Emmy-winning, Love on the Spectrum U.S., based on the Australian format by Northern Pictures, follows people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships.

In its second season, this U.S. based series tells the stories of a unique and diverse cast of characters — including new romantic hopefuls and familiar faces — searching for something we all hope to find, love.

Karina Holden, Head of Factual at Northern Pictures and Co-creator and Executive Producer of Love on the Spectrum U.S. S2 below for reference –

“We love being able to produce this show from our Northern Pictures office in Redfern with our satellite office in Venice Beach, California. It’s an original Australian idea that’s travelled elegantly onto the world’s biggest streaming platform, carrying with it the same sensibilities that evolved through the original ABC series.

“The positive response to Season One of Love on the Spectrum U.S. was truly heart-warming. This season, we have some familiar faces and we’ve also expanded the cast to include new individuals, including from the LGBTQ+ community. We hope to constantly push the pre-conceptions the audience might have about autism and encourage them to embrace diversity. I think this season is our best yet.”

Friday January 19 on Netflix.
