Suits creator Aaron Korsh to adapt Marc Fennell podcast

Heist podcast Nut Jubs, which tells the true story behind dozens of truckloads disappearing from American highways, in development with Amazon MGM Studios.

The US creator / exec producer of Suits, Aaron Korsh, and executive producer, Rick Muirragui will adapt Marc Fennell’s multi-award-winning podcast series into a one-hour drama series with Amazon MGM Studios.

The Australian Audible Original Nut Jobs was released in 2020, unearthing the true story of the $10 million heist you’ve never heard of; exploring a rabbit-hole of crime syndicates, stolen identities and private investigators that will change the way we think about food forever.

Marc Fennell told TV Tonight, “Even when I was out on the road recording the podcast back in the deserts of California in 2019, deep down we knew that this would be amazing on the screen so it’s incredible to see what this new series becomes.”

The podcast was a Gold winner of the Best Documentary Podcast and Best Serialised Podcast Trophies at the 2021 New York Festivals Radio Awards. Best Podcast Trophy at the 2020 Mumbrella Publish Awards and a Bronze winner of the Best True Crime Podcast at the 2020 Australian Podcast Awards.

Nut Jobs, is now acquired by MGM Television as a one-hour drama series, with Escape Artists attached to produce including executive producers Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, and Jordan Edelstein; with Marc Fennell and Sony Music Podcasts attached to executive produce, and Aaron Korsh and Rick Muirragui attached to create and executive produce;
