The 2008 ratings year is ending its weeks as they began, with a closer finish between the two top networks. But one is warehousing some of its shows knowing it has the year already sewn up.
If television were a horse race bookmakers would be losing a lot of money as Seven stays ahead of the pack again last week. At least the winning post is in sight.
The week was dominated by stories about current affairs and finance with CEOs and former network talent all having something to say. Meanwhile, Seven won again.
Nine's NRL Grand Final gave it reason to smile as the week's #1 show, but it wasn't enough to stop Seven from taking another week. At least TEN scraped past the ABC.
Ouch. After a week of axings, TEN has landed fourth behind the ABC, which didn't even have any stunt programming. TEN was even lower than when it had Big Brother.
