Journalist Cheng Lei was this week blocked when attending two separate events involving Chinese officials.

SKY News journalist Cheng Lei was this week blocked from the view of cameras by a Chinese official during a media event at Parliament House.
She was also blocked from attending an event involving the Chinese Premier and Opposition leader Peter Dutton.
The Australian government has complained to the Chinese embassy.
Ms Cheng spent three years behind bars in China before returning home to Australia last year.

Security in our Parliament should have manhandled the offenders out the door immediately….especially as they refused to move when requested.
I am not political…but I have to say..Sky News are getting plenty of mileage out of this…they have been milking it for days..and I fell sorry for Cheng…it seems like Sky News sent her there like a lamb to the slaughter…when they could have had some one else along with her other colleagues because she clearly stated it was about the visit not her being the sideshow..it was just blatantly rude on behalf of the Chinese Official to behave in such a disrespectful way.
