Spoilers: A cute video has been put together for Survivor: Samoa that borrows a bunch from Lost‘s Dharma Initiative.
Jeff Probst walks through this behind-the-scenes clip of Tribal Council rather like the white-coat guy from Lost. Which is kinda funny given that Lost was partly inspired by the oceanside success of Survivor (they noticed how audiences loved the escapist setting and came up with the drama).
In the clip the rather proud Mr. Probst also acknowledges the Emmys won by creator Mark Burnett.
“I actually won an Emmy, too. Two in fact.” …..We know, Jeff!
Bit surprised there were no Aussie crew members interviewed for this one. They usually make up a bunch of the group who put together the challenges and medical team.
Spoilers: After 2.30 mins there is footage of Gabon / Toncantins seasons.

Can’t be the last series as they are filming 2 back to back seasons in Samoa, S20 (the 2nd of the back to back seasons being filmed) being an all-stars season which Richard Hatch could not be a part of due to his jail/parole issues.

My brother was in Samoa on holiday when the crew were building the set.
They told him it was going to be the final series – but I doubt it. There has to be more Survivor
