If ELEVEN is screening Neighbours and The Simpsons on the first day of its launch, it won’t be doing so exclusively.
Both shows are scheduled to air on TEN on January 11.
TEN will be continuing its current early evening schedule in the week of January 9th.
It’s expected these shows wil be simulcast on both channels initially, to help educate viewers about the switch to its new channel.
Amended: 6pm with George Negus will launch January 24.
A full schedule for ELEVEN is likely to be announced shortly.

SD set top boxes $19 at Go-Lo. About the same as a pack of cigarettes or half a slab of booze. Let’s not hear any whining about “can’t afford digital”.
Why do satellite subscribers miss out again. It’s not like we get to choose between installing cable or satellite!!!! I pay top dollar for my hd service, as do cable subscribers, but I don’t get the full options.
as foxtel cable will show eleven will it still show one David?
To David
On the subject of ELEVEN being available to cable viewers on Foxtel. Is there any word on whether you need Foxtel HD to view it?
I have Foxtel IQ on cable, i can enjoy 7two as well as GO!.
For some reason 7mate and GEM are considered ‘HD’ and therefore i need to upgrade to IQ2 to watch them. It’s a rip off!
7mate and GEM were the former 7HD and 9HD channels. But ELEVEN will replace ONE SD and therefore should be avail to all Foxtel cable viewers. ONE should remain avail to HD cable subscribers. But nothing is confirmed yet.
I look forward to release of ELEVEN’S Tv Guide with great excitement.
Bring it on!!!!
This is a question for David Knox to answer. David is Eleven going to be added to Foxtel?
Currently no other news to advise on Darwin or Tassie guys. As previously noted ELEVEN is expected to be available to Foxtel cable viewers only.
I just hope the shows on ELEVEN (Dexter, Supernatural, Californication, etc.) won’t clash with any of the good shows on TEN (Good News Week, NCIS, Lie To Me, etc.) so I hope they show a schedule soon.
Just a heads up that TEN are suppose to be changing their LCN’s Wednesday 15th Dec (Tommorow), in preparation for ELEVEN. So some devices may need a rescan.
• Logical Channel Number (LCN) 11 will change its service name from “ONE HD” to
“ELEVEN”. This channel will change from a high definition channel to standard
definition. For an interim period, the program information on this channel will carry fixed advisory message for viewers.
• LCN 12 will change its service name from “ONE Digital” to “ONE HD”. This channel will change from a standard definition channel to high definition.
It’s to be expected, as 11 is starting on a Tuesday. Promote the move for a week, then on the next Monday, the simulcast will end, Simpsons/Neighbours will be 11 only and Negus and 6:30 news will air in their place on 10.
News changes have already been announced to start Janurary 24th If I recall correctly.
David, Ten have already confirmed a good 3-4 weeks ago now that 6pm with George Negus and Ten Evening News will launch on January 24.
The Simpsons and Neighbours will be shown on both Ten and Eleven until then.
Expect the simulcast to last two weeks. 6pm and the local bulletins start on the 24th.
Yay more Simpsons! (he says sarcastically)
Fair enough.
