First peek at ELEVEN Guide

UPDATED: ELEVEN reveals its Primetime timeslots for Craig Ferguson, Nurse Jackie, new Simpsons, Futurama, The Office, 90210 & more.

ELEVEN has released some of its first week of Programming, to begin at 11am on Tuesday January 11th with The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

But it has kept much of its feature programmes under wraps, to be advised via later Amendments.

At first glance the channel appears to be setting a path of block programming with late night viewings repeated during the daytime. These include classic shows such as Cheers, Roseanne, Mork and Mindy, The Love Boat, Happy Days, JAG, MacGyver, and Diagnosis Murder (all are repeats, obviously).

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
has a 10:30pm screening, presumably Monday – Friday with a morning replay (it begins with a double episode on the launch date). On Saturdays there appears to be a 9:30pm Movie yet to be announced.

Despite being listed as a TBA, Neighbours has already been announced for 6:30pm weeknights.

Other programmes including Nurse Jackie, Supernatural, Dexter, Stargate Universe, 90210, Futurama, Smallville, The Office, The Cleveland Show are yet to be unwrapped.

UPDATED: Just hours later and ELEVEN has released another schedule, which fills in almost all of its TBA slots. It includes timeslots for Nurse Jackie, 90210, Futurama, The Office, The Cleveland Show, new Simpsons, but no sign of Dexter, Supernatural, Melrose Place, Smallville and other promised titles. Perhaps they will be Sunday / Monday titles?

In other updates, Neighbours has a double episode on Friday Jan 14 and wins a weekday replay at 8:30am. Couch Time is a 5 min interstitial described as “Kick back with Labby and Stav as they present television’s greatest comedy hits! Including trivia, competitions and guest interviews, Couch Time is like drive time radio – for your TV!”

The new Guide is now available at Advance Guides.

  1. How about classic episodes of the Bold and the Beautiful? Would love to see some crazy Sheila Carter moments again!
Also a repeat of the weeks current episodes on a Saturday afternoon would be good 😉
The show is in the CBS library after all.

  2. looks like it Michael. Eleven now has King of the Hill which Seven had not long ago.

this, much like GO looks like a foxtel lineup…. especially Wednesday!

they should have called this TV11 instead of Eleven, Im actually serious too!
you have TV1 on Foxtel, TV11 on FTA. doesn’t have the same ring to it though.

  3. Mate, Neighbours will be on Mondays, but since ELEVEN launches on the Tuesday, there’ll be a double episode on the Friday to make up for it. From the next week, Neighbours will be at 6.30 Mondays to Fridays.

  4. a decent schedule, it could be better. Im guessing sunday will be Sons of Anarchy and Dexter. and Monday Supernatural and Smallville. and Im betting Dollhouse will be at either 8:30 or 9:30 Thursdays. but 90210 on a Friday at 7:30? what about Melrose then? but less old shows would be nice, Gem should have the older shows not GO and 11. I was expecting Wednesday night to be Animation night, like they did over Summer last year on 10. I don’t mind the Tuesday night comedies, they won’t clash with anything for me.

  5. The schedule looks OK so far.
@ Russell: of the shows you have listed, E Street, Heartbreak High and Rush are made by outside production companies and Ten don’t have the repeat rights to E Street and Heartbreak High, not sure about Rush.

  6. This looks like an awesome line-up. Just about everything i’m interested but i would like to see repeats of Charmed, The 4400, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Angel, The X-files, Firefly, Hercules: Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess and i would like to see Legend of the Seeker on ELEVEN. Heres what I Predict Sunday & Monday.

    Sunday
    8.30 Dollhouse.
    9.30 Dexter.

    Monday
    8.30 Smallville.
    9.30 Supernatural.

All I can say for now can’t wait.

  7. I hope they don’t kill Smallville and Supernatural on Sunday. As it’s never a good day for the commercial networks to put anything on. With few exceptions. I’ll point out the last time they put Supernatural on Sunday I didn’t watch it and caught up with DVD (end of Season 3 ).

I also hope Stargate Universe is only a double episode temporarily. I also hope they play the first three episodes because it’s been too long since I’ve seen them. I’d like it to have a proper beginning so more people can get into it. I also hope Ch 73 isn’t starting Warehouse 13 that week.

  8. Would be Good if MacGyver was shown at 4pm (Not 2pm). “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” was on TV1 (Foxtel) at 4:30pm for many years. What about Movies ?? GO! is doing well with Movies on Fri / Sat nights & 7mate is also pretty good.

Not sure if ELEVEN will get much viewers but Channel 10 needs to improve alot to make james packer happy in 2011

  9. You have listed ‘Stargate Atlantis’ as part of the line-up in the main article, I’m fairly certain you mean Stargate Universe as SGU is in the guide itself and 7mate is already airing SG:A.

  10. Yawn. It’s essentially a mix of GEM, 7mate and 7Two. The only good shows are simpsons, futurama and cleveland, apart from that it’s mainly repeats of 80s/90s shows.

  11. What a horrible schedule! 7mate and GO! Are ten times better. The office is past its prime now, and all the afternoon shows are decades-old garbage. Apart from smallville, supernatural and Dexter, they have nothing! I recommend the new meltose place though, it’s a lot better than you expect it to be
