First peek at ELEVEN Guide

UPDATED: ELEVEN reveals its Primetime timeslots for Craig Ferguson, Nurse Jackie, new Simpsons, Futurama, The Office, 90210 & more.

ELEVEN has released some of its first week of Programming, to begin at 11am on Tuesday January 11th with The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

But it has kept much of its feature programmes under wraps, to be advised via later Amendments.

At first glance the channel appears to be setting a path of block programming with late night viewings repeated during the daytime. These include classic shows such as Cheers, Roseanne, Mork and Mindy, The Love Boat, Happy Days, JAG, MacGyver, and Diagnosis Murder (all are repeats, obviously).

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
has a 10:30pm screening, presumably Monday – Friday with a morning replay (it begins with a double episode on the launch date). On Saturdays there appears to be a 9:30pm Movie yet to be announced.

Despite being listed as a TBA, Neighbours has already been announced for 6:30pm weeknights.

Other programmes including Nurse Jackie, Supernatural, Dexter, Stargate Universe, 90210, Futurama, Smallville, The Office, The Cleveland Show are yet to be unwrapped.

UPDATED: Just hours later and ELEVEN has released another schedule, which fills in almost all of its TBA slots. It includes timeslots for Nurse Jackie, 90210, Futurama, The Office, The Cleveland Show, new Simpsons, but no sign of Dexter, Supernatural, Melrose Place, Smallville and other promised titles. Perhaps they will be Sunday / Monday titles?

In other updates, Neighbours has a double episode on Friday Jan 14 and wins a weekday replay at 8:30am. Couch Time is a 5 min interstitial described as “Kick back with Labby and Stav as they present television’s greatest comedy hits! Including trivia, competitions and guest interviews, Couch Time is like drive time radio – for your TV!”

The new Guide is now available at Advance Guides.

  1. Charmed and repeats of Glee would be so good on this channel!

I’m really excited about Sabrina being back! I never get sick of it!
I remember Seven used to repeat it over the summer break back in like, the early/mid 2000s. That was good!

But yeah, I would love to see Charmed again!

PS. they need more Simpsons during late night and afternoon! 😀

  2. I dont think 11 has enough good content to compete with the other channels like 7MATE and GO!
Ten should do a distribution deal with E!, or MTV networks (CBS are closely aligned) for more compelling content.
Throwing on this stuff and presuming the 16-39 demo will be an easy win over is not necessarily going to happen with this line-up.

  3. I WAS looking forward to Eleven… but this schedule is very disappointing. 90210 and SYTYCD on a Friday night? Are you kidding? Arguably, their demographics are young audience– That would not be home on a Friday Night. Great, finally we get them here– but in the worst time slot.
I’m loving Nurse Jacky on a Tuesday night though.

    Horridly disappointed about One Tree Hill, Dollhouse, Supernatural and Sons Of Anarchy being left out.. If the network programmers had any brains they’d pair;
-90210 with Melrose Place (then once Melrose Ends, OTH can move to this slot)
-Dollhouse with Supernatural and possibly Smallville.
    -Sons of Anarchy with Dexter
-One Tree Hill with SYTYCD (until OTH moves behind 90210 once MP ends)
-Sunday Night Animation Block – Simpsons, Cleveland, Futurama and a ‘classic episode’ of one of the shows.

But then again.. that’d be a full proper network free of complete reruns, a digital channel would never do that..

  4. Im happy with whats on offer but the Saturday night lineup could be better! its pretty much the same as GO when they started off having Get Smart and Hogan’s Heroes on then a movie. how about a Simpsons 2 hour marathon, or how about playing Glee right from the start? I’d watch that since I missed it when it started on Ten.

  5. Currently on Foxtel Digital channel 531 they’re saying ELEVEN coming soon and are screening promos 24/7. Hopefully they move that into the Entertainment section at some point.

  6. Looks like 11 is just another Go, filled with 80s reruns during the daytime and a handful of good new shows scattered around at night. 11’s only edge over Go really will be the lack of erratic programming changes. (Hopefully)

  7. APM,

TV11 v TV1 would as you can see already be a litigation dogfight because of the similarities and not create for FTA a unique identityalthough contra-ing a pay channel ain’t really a problem except for legal complications

Would have like to see Ten use new voiceovers on the ads to give this channel a new feel although seven do the same and at the end of day it’s the content and it’s timing which makes or breaks a channel.

  8. Long live Neighbours on ELEVEN!!
Merry Christmas everyone and dont forget to do the survey, new simpsons and nurse jackie are my faves, some more aussie repeats would be great! Maybe E-street, Richmond Hill, Sweat, Heartbreak High, Echo Point, Arcade, Number 96, The Restless Years etc, we need to see our heritage on screen!! I’d even watch a repeat of 10’s version of A Country Practice, i followed it around the schedules at 15 back in 94! Nostalgia is good for the soul, to recoil, to re-connect with some past show’s that have affected us all, fashion etc, music and the way we sometimes interact, i know its acting but it does persuade ones train of thought to go into a new drama or show and get use to things but I’m all for longevity for Neighbours on 11!! Lets not give up on the girl! A new balance in the show is needed. More humour and comedy and alot grittier drama in its new pg rated digital slot!

  9. so they’ve scheduled new eps of the simpsons at 8.30 wednesdays, the same timeslot that it is assumed 7mate will continue with new eps of family guy. Also, they’ve scheduled SGU for 8.30 thurs, the same time the 7mate has SGA.
thats some serious clashes! TS and FG target the same audience, and SGU and SGA target exactly the same audience. So they really are trying hard to draw viewers away from the other digitals, which i think will fail seeing as people already are used to the existing digitals.

  10. They should do 2 one hour versions a week of The 7PM Project exclusive to 11.

Ten are so behind with two and a half year old 90210 and Smallville episodes, which Aus fans of those shows have had to download, that they’ll need to screen them twice a week for 7 or 8 months and/or in double episodes to be able to catch up.

  11. 6pm: Family Ties on ELEVEN and Negus on TEN. Will these shows combined match the half a million viewers The Simpsons currently draws every night? I wouldn’t bet on it.
