  1. Great, viewers in the Spencer Gulf and Broken Hill get Eleven before WIN SA viewers in the South East & Riverland SA do. From what I understand WIN plan on getting the 6 extra Digital Channels up & running by November but it will be done in stages. WIN being a Nine affiliate I think will put on GO! & Gem on first, but when I don’t know.

  2. Scuse my idiocy but are they new Futuramas or repeats x 50?

Neighbours, Futurama and Top model are the only things that interest me.

And please you cannot say ‘never plan to get a pvr’ and still expect to be catered for in the tv market. There are something like 12 channels, and if you don’t tape things you gonna miss them.

  3. please let it be that charmed returns. I mean i got all seasons on the bookj of shadows special, but i wanna see it again on tv, like the old days, i miss it 🙁

  4. Eleven is now available in the Spencer Gulf and Broken Hill region on ch 55 via Southern Cross with a test card showing the logo and says launching Jan 11. Some regional viewers on the East Coast have said on Media Spy that they have test cards too.

In SA & Broken Hill, SC Media have put 11 on the same transmitter as the current services making this the first time a commercial network has 4 different channels on the same transmitter with different programs on each one. I believe the transmitters were upgraded to enable HD programs or more SD channels for which is the case here and I hear another channel may be available in the region too. i believe 5 SD channels are the maximum a network can have on one transmitter. I do not know if Win SA will have 11 available though.

  5. I still think they should have moved Letterman to ELEVEN with Craig Ferguson. I’d have thought it would have been a very basic and very obvious pairing.

  6. Now I hope they don’t go cutting the schedule like after the 2nd week, if high rating numbers don’t come in. Ten has slaughtered Supernatural enough – leave it alone please…

  7. Just got a notification from our set top box saying that on tuesday we will be recieving channel 11 this is great news since i live in the spencer gulf region in sa we don’t recieve 7two, 7mate, gem, go or one this is excellent news we always miss out on the shows that get shifted from the main channels ! Thumbs up for channel ten really appreicate and look forward to watching it 😀

  8. Hooray!!!! We’ve just watched the first 3 seasons of Dexter, so just seeing that Eleven is showing Series 4 Ep 1 is the best news I’ve heard in ages!!!

  9. Why would GO! have to move The Vampire Diaries to 9:30 just because it clashes with Supernatural? I think TVD has enough fans to keep it at 8:30. If I want to watch Supernatural, I will just stick on the DVD’s. I’m glad GO! has some healthy competition now.

  10. I just wonder after the first full week of ratings which channel which digital channel will rate better GO! or ELEVEN because they both channel are really ai targeting the younger viewers. Also not surpised that New Zealand Next Top Model (which aired on first on FOX8 well over a year ago) will air first over the UK’s version because I think that FOX8 have the first run rights to the show.

  11. I am partly wrong. Vampire Diaries isn’t back yet so it won’t be clashing with Supernatural yet. Pretty Little Liars is on at that slot.

GO! might have to move Vampire Diaries to 9.30 pm ?

  12. Finally they release their full line-up. There’s definitely a few shows that I will be watching. I’m particularly keen to finally see the fourth season of Dexter.

It would be great if Eleven doubled-up their Supernatural episodes to catch-up with the US as well. I realise that Smallville is even further behind than Supernatural, but Smallville is almost so far behind now that it’s easy to forget just how far behind it is, whereas, Supernatural could “catch-up” (eventually) if they doubled-up on episodes.

  13. Oh the strain of it all – this show is on at this time and that show is on at that time – isnt life so terrible…..

i know get a life and go outside and enjoy life not sit in front of a screen and watch the body get fat

    Life …… Be in It….

  14. Gees – some people are hard to please! Just be glad these shows are on and stop complaining about the scheduling. Get a DVR or think back to a time before VCRs and choose the programme you are going to watch. Life’s full of tough choices, what to watch on TV shouldn’t be one of them. There is more to life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. The number of possible clashes – there inlies the problem with all these channels that only program for 6pm – midnight. At least GO! you get the post midnight repeats for first run shows – so the Vampire Diaries conflict with Supernatural is easily solved.

Ten programming will make sure Letterman on Ten and Ferguson on ELEVEN do not clash. in coming weeks, Letterman is on at midnight or later anyway, and it should remain at 11.30 or later as time goes on.

  16. @ Chris

I don’t have a PVR. Nor do I desire to have one. So if they want me watching they either need to repeat stuff late at night and if I’m awake I’ll watch it. Or I’ll choose one channel over the other. I’m a creature of habit. I’ll point out I watched House on Wednesday for 5 years until they decided to kill it on Sunday. I watched Medium until they also decided to kill it on Friday (I didn’t need it to be fast tracked just put it on when the appropriate time/day is free). And so on. If they choose the right day I’ll be there until the end of the show. But they seem not to get that they need to be reliable of late. By the way I do much prefer the shows to be on the digital channel because they are more likely to not be 20 or more minutes late.

By the way I can wait for shows. I’m just dismayed by them trying to kill their shows with foolish timeslots. Or at least that’s what I perceive as an audience member who wants to watch many of their shows. I just need them to be wiser in their choices. Oh well.

  17. To all the whingers out there….We finally have all these shows back on air. Who cares if they clash with other programs on other networks. Use your PVR’s!!!

I am sure the launch schedule will evolve as we are still in non-ratings period.

And all the content promised won’t be used right off the bat as they will need content for later in the year. Patience is a virtue.
