From this Sunday night Smallville will now air at 10:30 and 11:30pm.

ELEVEN has slated a movie You, Me And Dupree to air at 8:30pm.

  1. I agree with comment made on 11 and Go.Smallville is on then all of a sudden it not, just stopped nothing about being the end of a season or anything.Just stopped. And with Go Fringe, another show stopped mid season. If your going to stop a show at least explain why.It really p*sses of big fans of the shows

  2. What a surprise, Smallville bumped back Again, I thought this was what 11 was for. We do not need to watch repeated movies, put on first run Smallville at a reasonable hour.

And please ditch the Constant Neighbours adverts, this show is rubbish to begin with, without polluting everyone elses viewing.

  3. Crap on u 11& GO , i started watching this Smallville in the hope that this time (Clark the useless ) would learn how to fly , but now thanks to useless programmers ill have to wait for the dam dvd to find out . Also thanks to GO , i have just noticed you have taken of Vampire Diaries, another show that was better than most the crap that is on TV at the moment . O well ill just have to wait till it comes out on DVD .

  4. Yes it’s a pain in the derriere, just like this week I’m not interested in Alien.
Before Sunday had me fighting over 3 choices Smallville, Hawaii 5-O & Bones.

Now I only fight over two but until last week I was picking Smallville. You bump smallville to later slots is nearly a guarantee I wont watch it

I know the Ten Board is undergoing some turmoil at the moment but that is no excuse. Channel Eleven in it’s brief lifespan rapidly transformed into a Channel Nine type channel – a waste of time.

As for any ratings for any show they’re a myth. OzTam means nothing, practically no one has a ratings box. Is it any wonder with this behaviour that people turn to the internet for their tv viewing.

Only diff between 9 & 11 is that 9 has the Cricket and NRL to keep it going – Eleven has nothing.

  5. You suck channel 10/11. That is the only show I really enjoy watching. I wasn’t happy when it got taken off last time, I go really excited when it was coming back.

Now you have gone and stuffed it. I can’t stay up that late to watch it, the movie you also replaced it with sucked too. So i completely switched to another channel.

If you want to loose more viewers you going at it the right way!! :0(

  6. What a suprise, Smallville dumped for some ugly old Movie, how many weeks did it take !!! I bet if it was Football or some other boring sports it would have stayed as it was.
You TV programmers have no idea what people want to watch, you are so narrow in your surveys and research, you have failed again.
So the rating will go even lower, now it is on so late, people do have to go to work the next day.

  7. why? can’t they just get rid of everybody loves raymond on weekends and move the shows up this is the one show i watch and i always look forward to it now i have to tape it and the only tv it works on is the black and white tv

  8. I completely gave up on Channel 10 after they dropped Supernatural, but foolishly relented and began watching Smallville and Supernatural when they began to air again on Channel 11. What a bloody shock that they have already screwed with Smallville!! I Loathe you Channel 10/11!!

Apparently, your cunning plan is to encourage the downloading of television programs from the U.S. and hasten the inevitable demise of free-to-air television!!

  9. this is ridiculous. i can’t say i’m surprised though i knew this would happen. they should put smallvile on 8.30 on monday nights and supernatural 9.30 i think it would work much better that way. im going to have to miss out on smallville now since i have school.

  10. The low ratings don’t surprise but what continues to surprise me at least, is that the digital channels, think they are going to score monster ratings on shows that are months and in some cases almost years behind the US air dates, especially in the current climate when other options are available. I’m not saying I don’t want them on air, I seriously do, but I can’t wait months to watch the next episode.

The networks are being punished for years of playing loose and free with other programs, with customers (because we are customers to their brand) finally given more power to find their own entertainment.

  11. @APM – yes, would have loved for Smallville to continue on Thursday nights!

Also for those interested in Angel, according to the posts by 11 on their twitter and facebook pages that will return on March 5 after Saturday night movies.

  12. Ten HD used to have it on Thursday nights way back when, not sure why they didn’t try the same approach when returning to 11. I mean Supernatural returned to its usual monday 8:30 slot, and summer 2009/2010’s Animation fixation remains this year on wednesday so why not with Smallville! Stargate should have been played on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday when the nerds are at home 😉

  13. @ APM

I’m glad the DVDs get released regularly not depending on the useless TV Channels. And by the way Smallville has been released in March since the sixth season and it was released early April for the fifth season. So that’s 4-5 years. Which is more reliable than any channel. Although they are usually released in September in Region 1 (North America ) and October in Region 2 (UK) the year before of course. So that’s over 5-6 months late. Also it’s nearly the end of the 10th season. I think we’ve waited too long if anything.

As for showing it on Monday I’d prefer they didn’t due to the reason of Q&A being on. Which I don’t think gets repeated in my state and even if they did they’d probably put it on a ridiculous time of 8pm Saturday just so almost no-one can watch it. Either because they are in the middle of watching an hour show between 7.30-8.30pm. Plus if they want to change channels they are stuck at 9pm with everything else already started and nothing new. And they wonder why people won’t watch when they fail to co-ordinate with other channels. But that’s a different peeve.

  14. Hey at least with all the changes for 11 , the only show gone so far is just 90210, but Ten does say that will be back soon.

I guess if you have a PVR 10.30pm is no worries. I think a PVR is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury these days .

  15. 10:30 is pretty late to be moving it to, yeah movies are worth it for a sunday. crime shows seem to do better but 11 doesn’t really have one besides Dexter. they should just move Dexter to Sundays and Smallville on mondays after Supernatural. they should also think about putting Sons of Anarchy on sundays at 8:30, I’ve heard its a good show and may rate well…even more then Smallville. but it is a shame that SV wasn’t given a chance, once they move a show to 10:30 it’ll be tough to move it back to an earlier slot. it’ll confuse people and loose viewers so for a digital channel its always best to let it stay and at least finish off the season before moving it.

another thing, why the hell to WB release dvds for shows that haven’t had a FTA or Foxtel run? they’ve done so with smallville before and they did so with Supernatural Season 5. I always thought a show couldn’t be released on dvd unless it had a play on TV. thats probably why they’ve lost viewers, people figure why wait months to watch a whole series on TV when they could watch the whole season on dvd in a week. other companies wait till its played fully, Universal and The Office have had half season sets because Ten would never seem to show a full season, they would end up showing half and show the other half a few months later.
