Nine yanks one CSI to replace it with another CSI.

Wonder if this is going to result in a YouTube Apology?
Nine has pulled CSI: New York from its schedule from next Thursday.
Instead CSI: Miami will take its place at 9:30pm Thursday February 24.
This will be “Happy Birthday”, the 200th Episode, in Sydney and Brisbane and “Wheels Up” in Melbourne.

Gave up on channel 9 years ago, found my own sources of watching these shows up to the current episode being shown in the US
@ vinny – you need to watch all the shows to judge not just from random comments on the web. Personally I rate NY as the equal of the original at present although in it’s prime LV is easily the best. Miami was good to start but became almost surreal. NY is a fine show and ratings mean nothing. Many excellent shows tank.
Anyway this is the final straw no more NY on Nine for me I’m getting it elsewhere.

The CSI Miami & NY Dvds via Amazon, should work if your Aussie Dvd player is multi-regioned. Most models are already multi-regioned , because retailers don’t bother to let their customers know that you can play dvds from other regions on it.
Theres only 11 episodes left of CSI Miami in the current season and god only knows how many of CSI NY , i guess its easily 24 or more , shame really as its a good show , well looks like the wait for the trusty dvd , no adds or BS so its all good.

From what I have heard on the net, CSI New York is just not as good as the other two. Hence it doesn’t rate.
I reckon they should have a lineup something like
Saturdays on Gem all new…..
8.30pm Csi NY double episodes to catch up
10.30pm option of single or double episodes of Without a Traces 8? remaining ep’s
But knowing Nine they are too obsessed with ratings compared to Ten so that above would prob never happen.

I’ve finally given in and sourced my beloved CSI NY elsewhere.
And again last night they showed the CSI promo with Sela Ward. Isn’t that just a slap in the face to fans?
Move it to GEM permanently.

I highly recommend that you get both s5 & 6 dvd boxets of CSI NY now, via Amazon or Ebay.
Maybe an apology from Dave too. Headline reads: “Gone: CSI: Miami”, but article states “Instead CSI: Miami will take its place at 9:30pm Thursday February 24”.
I don’t blame you Dave. You really do need a degree in rocket science to follow when new episodes of the CSI franchise are on.
