After just one episode, new tween-horror series Teen Wolf is moving to a new timeslot.

After just one episode, new tween-horror series Teen Wolf is moving to a new timeslot.

It will now air at 10:30pm Mondays, following a repeat of Bones.

The show pulled just 492,000 viewers on Monday night, despite its Amazing Race lead-in of 1.03m viewers.

Seven lost the night to Nine.

The new timeslot takes effect from next Monday, July 11th.

  1. i am annoyed at the 10.30 time slot as i have to get up early to go to work and i was so happy it was on at 9.30pm so i could stay up and watch it now i stuggle

i wish channel 7 would put it back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or change it to another night at 9.30none of this 10.30 crap!!!!!!!!!

  2. I think it’s completely ridiculous that it is played at 10:30. I love this show but monday is a school night for me so I’m not allowed to go to bed after 9:10. i know i could record it, so I tried to but my tv doesn’t let me. so now i have to get my grandparents to record it on foxtel for. so much work to see this show, silly.
    🙁

  3. Are Seven purposefully trying to lose viewers by pushing it back to 10:30.. don’t they realise people need to be up early the next morning for work and school… give the show a chance you have only aired 1 episode!! 10:30 is too late! give people a chance to warm to it because all you are doing is giving people more incentive not to tune in… why would u put re-runs of bones when you could be airing New episodes of a new tv series at a decent time.. where has people’s logic gone!

  4. So what Teen Wolf didn’t get that high amount of views. It’s just the start, and I don’t think you’ll see much of an improvement with it being on at 10:30pm on a Monday night. I seriously hope Teen Wolf returns to the 9:30 slot. :/

  5. This would have been an ideal replacement for How I met your Mother when the latter was moved to screen right after Winners and Losers on Tuesdays.

I kind of remember the much earlier version dating back to the eighties and from memory 9 used to show that on Saturday Nights

  6. What a massive surprise here. A show named “Teen Wolf” (the operative word being Teen) doesn’t rate well in the 9:30pm Monday slot. It would be better served in a Friday night slot either on the main channel or one of the digitals. Probably would have been better suited to Ten/Eleven’s demo as well.

I think it’s hilarious how there’s all these shows floating around (as you guys have mentioned – Buffy, Angel, X Files etc…), yet you flick on the digital channels over the weekend, or even during the day and there is nothing but absolute rubbish. Freeview claims we’re getting these fantastic channels with all this great programming, but its a farce. Get this FTA networks – when you offer up nothing but sh*t, people turn off. Get your act together and start focussing on programming and not just money. When you get the first right, the other will follow.

  7. @Stevieg: Your right! i can recall having to choose between SFU & Buffy. I think i remember it being around series 4 or 5 on Mondays, hard to believe that was about a decade ago huh?

  8. Yes, Buffy and Angel had good runs in the 10.30 slot, Tuesdays and Wednesdays mostly and i think Buffy did have a season on Mondays (I remember in clashing with Six feet under, at some point). So a supernatural show at that time could work again?

  9. i wonder why the commerical FTA networks don’t get 10 people to sit in a room to watch a preview of a new series before a time is scheduled. do a quick audience appreciation survey and work out whether its a hit or a miss. can’t be that hard surely

  10. of course they would bump it, its like every other show they bring on after one ep bump it to a new time, do we really need to see old eps of Bones, put it on another time. Its the best thing to every come onto seven this year so far

  11. I’m not surprised it’s bumped already. It didn’t thrill me and i’m in it’s target audience. But what is really frustrating me is that we keep being given repeats of both Bones and Castle when there are plenty of new episodes that they have yet to air!
