Any ideas of who the other stars will be?
Its not a taping of the show! I hear it will be like a taping of the show but a look behind the show with Fry & Davies. I would pay that to just see Fry!! Wonder who the all star cast will be?
I’m glad they’re doing the shows in Australian. I’d struggle if they were in Vietnamese or German or something 🙂
@Oliver as mentioned, brisbane tickets can be purchased from the qpac or qtix websites
You cannot book tickets for the Brisbane shows, where does it say they will be going to Brisbane, I thought it was just Perth and Melbourne.
The reason they are no going to Sydney is that Sydneysiders are not stupid enough to pay such ridiculous prices. David – batten down the email hatches.
$150 are the cheapest adult tickets available in Brisbane….that’s a bit steep.
My list : Andrew denton and Peter FitzSimons, Ita buttrose, jeffrey rush, eric bana, and judith lucy. I think that the people invited shouldn’t neccessarily be tv personalities – I know that largely contradicts my list, but what the hey 🙂
If i had to split hairs, denton and FitzSimons would be on my list.
A: No word on any ABC broadcast.
$139 and $199 for tickets here in Brisbane. Seems a bit steep. They have 2 shows though, so they must be expecting to sell the tickets.
oh Lucky Perth
They are going to air them on the ABC? If so good. As for Sydney not getting it I’ll note they are getting that Harry Potter Exhibition and as far as the rest of Australia are concerned we can go get stuffed. So now they know how it feels to be the rest of Australia most of the time. Of course they still might get their way one day on the issue. So the feeling might not last. I have no information on that. Just it wouldn’t surprise me.
I’ll certainly consider buying tickets. You may be able to watch some of it for free on TV, but there will be huge amounts that never make it to air either because of time constraints or it’s just too filthy to broadcast.
I’ve said for years Adam Hills would be perfect on this show. In addition, I’d say Denise Scott, Cal Wilson, Angus Sampson, Josh Lawson, John Doyle and Merrick Watts stand out as possible contenders.
Wow. Prices are insane. I’m an avid watcher of the show but won’t be paying that kind of money when I’ll be able to watch it for free at a later date.
This is simply the most fantastic thing I’ve ever heard! You can keep your Gagas and such, I just want me a bit of Fry and Davies
No mention that cheapest tix are $99 for restricted view and $199 for premium. For a taping of a panel show, that’s amazing prices
Please, not Hamish. I like the guy but he’d be a bad fit for this. How about Molly Meldrum? – he’s pretty knowledgeable – or Red Symons, smart and acerbic. And need a lady or two as long as it’s not Fiona O’Loughlin.
If we are suggesting names – and just off the top of my head – how about Judith Lucy, Denise Scott, Fiona O’Loughlin, Celia Pacquola. But as QI is usually about the blokes (in addition to Shaun Micallef and Tony Martin) Anh Do, Greg Pickhaver, Tom Gleeson?
What no Sydney?
Whoo hoo! That would be something I’d pay to see …
I want to know why it appears Sydney gets left out?!
The one time of the year I won’t be able to afford a trip to Melbourne or Brisbane!!
