Gone: Last Man Standing

TEN continues to make surprising changes to its primetime schedule.

Now it has pulled Last Man Standing and Modern Family from Sunday night, originally scheduled to play at 6:30 and 7pm respectively.

It will replace it with David Attenborough’s Life in Cold Blood presumably as an alternative to Big Brother.

This doco has already played in Australia on Nine three years ago. In Summer.

Everybody Dance Now remains at 7:30pm.

  1. @Kenny,The News item is about “Last man standing”so obviously common sense would determine that you were refering to said story,as there was a BBC series called “Last man standing” in 2007.
You did refer to the photo so one must question your logic?

  2. @Goatracer- Only thing I got mixed up was the newspapers. On checking the DVDs I see that it was The Sun-Herald & Sydney Morning Herald that gave away this David Attenborough series. They gave away another DA series Trial of Life earlier.

  3. Southpatt – I know you are joking but I bet there’s someone at Ten who is already thinking this.

Check the tv guides for this Saturday – 6:30pm is TBC.

Sigh – this was the timeslot I sat down in front of the telly with a glass of chard and enjoyed a rib tickling hour of Before the Game….

  4. @vos – It’s hardly a “new show”. Nine ran it 3 years ago. As for “new show” -v- “new show”, it’s call competition. Incidentally, most viewers are not watching Big Brother. Add the numbers.
“Im suprise channel 7 is sort of been quite (sic) at the moment ” – Er, X-Factor 4 hrs this week? GCB?

  5. Whats the go with all channels for example just because channel 9 is offering big brother show and knows lots of fans are watching it. at 7pm. It means channel ten has a new limeup programes along the way as well on the same time at pm. Whats with new shows on channel 9 so been participated at 7pm but same time channel ten is doing it as well… Whos been a copy cat? someone is because thats what irritates me to see just because one channel is about to add new shows/series from 7pm does not mean that the rest of the (other) channels has to do the very same act.. Or act as a copy cat wanna be one.

This proofs how channel ten does not no what they really want so they end up stealing ideas and wanna be a copycat like channel 9. Just because channel 9 has new programes from 7pm does not mean channel ten has to act the very same thing at the very same time… otherwise this proofs that channel ten has nothing better then just been copycats… Im suprise channel 7 is sort of been quite at the moment and continues to deal with thier same old stuff without much changes… But just stupid to know one channel hears they have new stuff comming well then the other has to do the same and thats how stupid copy cats channels can really be.

  6. Now TEN has a BBC show, why isn’t Life in Cold Blood on ABC where it should be? Also this is a 1 hour show, each ep running just under 60 mins without ads, are we to get an edited edition?

As for Last Man Standing, never got the feeling TEN was into this one, given the 2nd season starts in a few months maybe all the Tim Allen fans have already seen it?
