Confused about this week’s Big Brother plans, following a day of rest yesterday?

Surprisingly the Eviction show isn’t on tonight, it’s tomorrow night (and judging by the editing Ava is the likely candidate).

Instead, Nine has a giant 90 minute Daily Show tonight, when it could have pitted the Eviction show against Seven’s X Factor performance.

Nevertheless, it does have a lot of activity to catch up on, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday footage.

Nominations this week will take place in a 90 minute show on Wednesday, meaning there will be less time to vote. In truth most voting for TV shows happens immediately anyway.

    No i don’t work for ch7 nor ch10. Just pointing out how many people out there realise that ch9 is promoting (all new) constantly everymonth and even for a fact theres nothing new out of it course the programe only lasted a week. How about Dallas ? How about other series? diddn’t last long right ? Just spam promos. And that final footy thing. Why not shove it on any of the 8 channel(s) foxtel has to offer ? let along have ch9 for intertainment shows not just spaming it. Anyways thanks.

  5. BB this year is fine, although they need live streaming back. Also an uncut type show. Apparently the housemates are quite vulgar and fifthly and we’re seeing non of it. I don’t care about nudity but just to see what they are like uncensored.

    Although the talent show part of mondays episode was the worst BB as been all season.

  6. C9 choosing to broadcast the footy finals pulling in 3m to a episode of BB which does close to 1m, no brainer Vos.

    I’m sure you can go 24 hours without it.

  8. I disagree that BB this year has been trash. I hated the show before but after watching it on and off with my housemate the past two months its grown on me. Now I find it quite engaging.

    I hope Michael wins, that guy is hilarious

  9. @kats I was worried when I heard BB was going to be on 9 this year. I agree about the editing, but on the whole I think the show hasn’t that bad this year. i love the cheekiness of Big Brother this year, he’s often made me lol.

    Still think they should have some kind of live streaming, and/or a M/MA rated show. I can understand the want/need to avoid the controversies of the past, but life isn’t PG rated. At least an Adults Only show would allow us a greater insight into the Housemates and their background stories and allow a deeper connection. They could easily ditch the gratuitous nudity, but still allow us to connect more with the Housemates, especially since we are using our hard earned cash to vote for them.

    I generaly don’t notice the tweets. But when I have, the tweets have been of a generic nature saying something about their fave Housemate, or one they don’t like. Plus tweets are exchanged pretty much 24/7 so producers can just pick 1 that is apt for that particular scene. Especially since there are “live updates” on the Big Brother site, so viewers can actually have some idea of what will be in each nights show.

  10. I’ve got to say when BB first started I didn’t think I’d enjoy it very much,but as the weeks have gone on I’ve found it quite entertaining and there have been times I’ve actually found myself laughing out loud at some of the antics.If I had to criticize anything,it would be the editing.

    I must watch big brother show it has been a long wait. Its just channel 9 ruine everything complete.

    Also as im watching big brother right now on television. Just below the screen there are random (twitters) posting a msg there on my screen. How can these random twitters actually know what is actually showing as of right at this minute? these twitters may be more likely fake. Because as i watch the show you dont no what is going to show in the next 30seconds of it. So how can twitters actually know things even though the twitters are not live at all ? Please investigate this as to know if its real twitters or fake twitters. Just that the coments twitters says its almost as if the twitters have allready seen this tonight big brother show. When it is broadcasting on channel 9 currently.

  12. I’m not satisfied with ch9 because they have just broke a rule. When theres a premier reality show called BB show.. They should never take it off the air for 24hours. And thats exactly what they sure did because the rediculours footy match. Oh don’t tell me.. cricket comming up ? lets just don’t end up seen big brother show off the air for another 24hour strike.

    It looks like big brother show is not the best ideal on this channel. Its just ruine it complete in reality. And who knows what goes on 24hours in the BB house. Considering there are things going on things you have no idea about. Because theres no webscam to view. And making promos inside bb makes it less big brother reality for them. They are design not to watch nothing on tv…. not meet any other producers inside the big brother house or be promoted to make promos in the bb house. They are letting them see themself far too much on that plasma television set. Knowing they are allready know what they look like on television which makes it less big brother.. Because the show was design not to get them interact with the plasma screen constantly and not meet anyone outside that house such as producers. And big brother voice is just rediculours.. Not very mastermind if you know what i mean. Hes more flirting rediculoursly at thier housemates. I just hope they don’t mess it up next year. thanks.

  13. I do seem to remember that in the very first season that the Housemates got to watch the 1st episode of The Secret Life Of Us before it aired on TV. I also think I vaguely remember movies being watched in the Rewards Room and messages from loved ones, but when fewer Hosemates were left.

    @jonasboi the eviction was moved this week because of 9 telecating the NRL Grand Final.

  14. so why have they moved the eviction?? like it makes more sense to do it mid week… but they seem to have no clue what they are doing with this show….

    1. Kinda what I expected to hear. I do think this season has taken a few liberties that move the show away from its original premise of no music, no TV, no news, no outside contact. Videos from home, passing on info about footy scores, showing them footage of themselves within an edited episode….. just sayin’.

  16. In relation to the promos Alex, one of the producers, on the twitter account stated promos were being shot individually in the captain’s quarters in front of a green screen then edited together.

  18. I know someone asked this before in the TV Lounge but how did the cast of Big Brother including Sonia Kruger and the housemates film the Gangnam Style ad they’ve been playing in high rotation?

    Did they take time out to film it inside the BB house? It would be a bit bizarre if they all casually left the house to film an ad on a soundstage
