Former Labor minister Graham Richardson is set to join the SKY political team full-time, reports The Australian.
Richardson, who hosts his own weekly show Richo, will become part of the SKY News Canberra team alongside David Speers and Kieran Gilbert.
“The SKY News Canberra team led by David Speers and Kieran Gilbert are a first-class act and the best in the business and I’m delighted to join them,” the former politician said.
“It (the election) will be a cracking contest and I’ll be working flat out on it.
Speers added: “Graham has tremendous experience, he knows everyone that matters, and he cuts through the spin with unique clarity and style. He’s a fantastic addition to our team.”
Richardson has been a commentator for Nine, Seven and 2GB and a regular contributor to Q & A and Sunrise opposite Alan Jones.

Yes I enjoy watching Richo each week
Yeaahhhhh Richooo
Much better than Alan Jones.
@rach… I’d say Richo is probably one of the most non Labor of non Liberals going around… hardly a stretch for SKY…
At least now being fulltime there is one fulltime non Liberal on the team.
