Channel [V] is reviving its youth travel series B430, which hasn’t been since 2011.

The new series, B430: Live Like a Local will be hosted by Danny Clayton learning about local knowledge tips for young travellers to Tokyo, Rio De Janeiro, Paris, Barcelona, New York and Reykjavik.

In this six-part local production, Danny takes you to a different destination in each episode, visiting Tokyo, Rio De Janeiro, Paris, Barcelona, New York and Reykjavik in Iceland. He receives a crash course in native knowledge thanks to a cluey local who lets him in on the hidden spots tourists wouldn’t normally find. Forget those dodgy brochures at the travel agent, overpriced tours, iconic structures crammed with tourists, souvenir shops, and hustlers; instead B430 – Live Like A Local will show you what a place is really like and offer a checklist of must-see locations your friends probably don’t know about yet.

In every destination Danny explores the city with his local guide, uncovering the things they enjoy doing like shopping in the best districts, interesting places to eat and drink, and of course – where to party with the locals. Danny also gets out of the city for an overnight escape to where the locals love to hang out for an unforgettable and unique experience only local knowledge can offer.

Danny has had one hell of an adventure and is sharing everything with you in B430 – Live Like A Local only on Channel [V]. He hikes into one of Japan’s remote shrines, surfs at a private beach party in New York’s Montauk, chills out at a secret swimming hole in Spain, and goes to a penis museum in Iceland – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

In addition to watching the series on Foxtel, viewers will be able to get the behind the scenes stories that we just couldn’t show you on TV. Danny Clayton will be taking to his social media channels every Wednesday night from November 18 at 9.30pm giving his own unique take on what went down in these amazing places.

Channel [V] Wednesdays from November 18 at 9.30pm.
