A young adult drama is in the pipeline for Network 10 from Brisbane producer.

A young adult drama Dive Club is in the pipeline for Network 10.

The 12×22 min series is a co-production between Brisbane-based Steve Jaggi Company (Rip Tide, Back of the Net, Swimming for Gold) and LA-based Nicely Entertainment.

The series “follows a feisty group of teen divers who race to find their best friend when she disappears after a storm hits their small coastal town.”

Both companies are also due to shoot romantic movie Romance in Sapphire Cave in Australia in June.

“2020 is starting as a challenging year with Covid-19 shutting down production around the world. At Nicely Entertainment, we feel privileged that we were able to lock production on our first two movies in February prior to the lockdown,” said Nicely’s Vanessa Shapiro.

“We are thankful to be able to develop and produce TV series and movies with well-established talent and production companies worldwide, and we are looking forward to delivering quality content to our trusted partners.”

ABC has previously announced 8 part drama Barons, which centres around young surfers who create billion-dollar empires, to be produced by Fremantle.
