Andrew O’Keefe waits in custody

Former Seven host will be forced to wait longer for a bail hearing.

Former Chase presenter Andrew O’Keefe will be forced to wait another month behind bars as he awaits a bail hearing.

News.com.au reports his case was mentioned briefly before NSW Supreme Court registrar George Galanis today, who indicated it was unlikely to be heard before March 7th, due to back logs.

March 17 was listed as a potential date but a final date was not reached.

On Friday the Central Local Court heard he would plead guilty to possessing 1.5 grams of cannabis on January 27 – but not guilty to other assault charges.

Another charge of breaching an apprehended violence order was the most recent to be laid by police. O’Keefe is yet to enter a plea.

His case is also listed to be mentioned in another court bail call-over list on February 21.
