Renewed: Grace

John Simm will reprise his role as Brighton-based Detective in UK police drama.

UK crime drama Grace starring John Simm, has been renewed for a third series.

Simm will reprise his role as Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace in the series based on the novels by author Peter James.

Starring Richie Campbell as DS Glenn Branson, Zoë Tapper as Cleo Morey and Craig Parkinson as DS Norman Potting, the third season will comprise three feature length films.

A co-production between Tall Story Pictures and Vaudeville Productions, a second series screened in Britain in April.

Series 1 screened in Australia on Seven last October.

  2. Grace rated well in the UK, and the US and has sold to other markets like Australia. With Endeavour only having 3 eps left, Grace is Russel Lewis’s next project. There’s been no word on more Vera, with talk that the producers are looking at a US remake for the US streaming market, instead. ITV have bought the rights to the books and it’s their major mystery series now.

    1. Well there’s 2 episodes of Vera left in this 11th series, rumoured to be going to air in the (UK) late autumn. A decision on seres 12 (I guess) won’t be made until after those air.
