Murder, mystery and mayhem…
Netflix has released a teaser for Wednesday, the new 8 part reimagining of the Addams Family, starring Jenna Ortega in the title role.
The series is directed by Tim Burton and features Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Isaac Ordonez, George Burcea with Gwendoline Christie and Christina Ricci.
A date is yet to be announced.
The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

I love the promo, but will the rest of the Addams Family be just as good, we shall have to wait and see, I’m not really a fan of Tim Burton’s abstract film making but I will be watching all 8 episodes of this show. I’m sure Netflix must have this classic Halloween comedy title at the top of their list for more seasons after securing the much sort after rights to make this limited season series.
