Jenna Ortega has returned to filming Season 2 of Wednesday in Ireland.
The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.
Cast for the second season include Steve Buscemi, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Isaac Ordonez, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Billie Piper, Georgie Farmer, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor with Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Guest cast include Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo with Fred Armisen and Christopher Lloyd.
However Percy Hynes-White, who starred as Xavier Thorpe, is out following allegations on social media, which he referred to as a “campaign of misinformation.”
The series is the most popular English language TV series on Netflix with 252.1m views, spending 20 weeks on the Global Top 10 and reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries.

Other executive producers include Steve Stark, Andrew Mittman, Tommy Harper, Karen Richards, Kayla Alpert, Jonathan Glickman, Gail Berman and Meredith Averill. Jenna Ortega is set to be a producer for S2.

That’s some cast they’ve got. Looking forward to it.
Not sure if the Xavier Thorpe character will be back, he was arguably one of the attractions of the show, bringing Wednesday out from her dark side to discover human emotion. I’m not certain if Percy Hynes White is being replaced.
