On Monday Seven screens UK music talent quest Starstruck, a reworking of Stars in their Eyes, in which Brits compete to prove they are the best at imprsonating their favourite star.

Hosted by Olly Murs, the panel includes Adam Lambert, Sheridan Smith, Beverley Knight & Jason Manford.

In the first episode teams of singers compete individually as Freddie Mercury, Ariana Grande, Marvin Gaye and Lady Ga Ga.

This screened in the UK a year ago.

9:15pm Monday on Seven.

  1. Not too fussed by the various changes this season but have to say – going off those images, whoever they have in charge of the costumes/makeup is absolutely smashing it out of the park here. Unless you told me, I’d never have realised that was Rose Matafeo!

  2. Can someone tell me why a FTA network is screening this first season of this show that finished last year???????

    FTA channels in Australia is just plain rubbish!!!! We deserve better and newier content!!!! This supposed to be 2023, not 1993!

  3. We knew this was coming months ago after an interview with Olly discussing it, we tipped it would land on FTA. Just waiting now for a show for cover bands and tribute singers/bands to be made into a TV show too. Some of them are amazing but some not so good like a Kiss cover band my daughter dragged me to. It was something else, wigs falling off, falling over in platform boots, getting stuck up in the air with wires, guitar strings snapping and twanging then almost setting the stage alight. It was the best nights entertainment even better than Kiss performing themselves. Nothing better when people try so hard to copy singers have a fail, loose their sh..t and become a comedy act instead. 😂 This is definitely a winner in our house.
