Filming begins on NCIS: Sydney

10 is yet to announce cast of series currently underway in Sydney.

Filming has begun on upcoming drama NCIS: Sydney.

Daily Mail Australia reports scenes were being filmed in North Bondi. Paparazzo photos featured Shawn Seet directing unannounced cast members.

The first iteration of the hit series based outside of the United States, it is being adapted for Paramount+ and Network 10 and was announced as launching in 2023 (it isn’t clear if it will now move to 2024).

Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President, ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand, Beverley McGarvey, previously said: “We are thrilled to welcome the inaugural international series of NCIS to Australian shores.

“It is such a privilege to be able to continue the legacy of such a wonderful show and incorporate the superior NCIS storytelling while introducing new Australian characters and locations. We can’t wait to get production underway.”

The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Endemol Shine Australia.

  1. So I live in Sydney Olympic Park and while having my coffee this morning looked over the balcony and was surprised to see a whole carpark taken over by film crew trucks and gear and people standing around in what looked like Navy uniforms … think I’ve just connected the dots!

  2. Why the secrecy around the cast? It is ridiculous reading a story where even the know it alls at Daily Mail don’t even know the names of actors and actresses in pics
