Dr. Chris: “It is one of the more stupid decisions ever made by Channel 7”

When a new TV recruit is already questioning management decisions....

Well this is going well….

New network recruit Dr. Chris Brown has poured cold water on a decision to have him co-host the Red Carpet for the Logie Awards.

Speaking -at best in jest- to Triple M’s Mick & MG in the Morning, he said, “Can I just tell you, it is one of the more stupid decisions ever made by Channel 7 to put me on the Red Carpet.”

“I know nothing about fashion… and I am also colour blind,” he explained.

Brown will co-host with Sonia Kruger.

“The joy that I’m going to have in telling women that I love their green dress and (I’m) gonna be told it’s red… what could possibly go wrong?”

He added, “The insulting nature of my commentary is going to be worth it.”

They aren’t ideal comments for the new network star who will also front an unnamed animal show for Seven, and Dream Home in 2024.

Coming up next: what does Dr. Chris know about Renovation anyway….?

  1. It is amazing to see how far removed he is from being an experienced, dedicated and professional vet. He has lost al credibility and become just another clown. So sad.

  2. Seriously all he needs to ask is who you’re wearing and get them to do the twirl or whatever and then ask about the show they’re nominated for.

  3. This article made me giggle.

Some odd choices indeed from Seven. A vet who’s colour blind and knows nothing about fashion. Seve’s like, sure, let’s make his first gig on Seven the co-host of a red-carpet.

And then that last line about Renovation – his next hosting gig. Laugh out loud.

I know he has to do something at Seven, but surely there’s some better choices out there……
