A numbers of readers have asked if new Paramount+ series NCIS: Sydney will screen on 10.
The answer is yes, as confirmed by Beverley McGarvey, Executive Vice President, Paramount ANZ in her speech at the official launch on Friday night.
The 8 part series stars Olivia Swann as NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey, Todd Lasance as Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey, Sean Sagar as NCIS Special Agent, DeShawn Jackson, Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer, Constable Evie Cooper, and Mavournee Hazel as AFP Forensic Scientist, Bluebird ‘Blue’ Gleeson.
The series was originally announced as premiering on Paramount+ and Network 10 in Australia, while debuting internationally on Paramount+ in 2023. With the joint Writer / Actor strikes in the US the show also gets a primetime network screening this week on CBS.
The series is now screening weekly on Paramount+.

Detected way too many Yankee Doodles in the trailer.
A revival of Water Rats would have made far more sense than whatever this is going for. Either way, this doesn’t seem to be targeting a local audience at all, and with waning interest in the original series, I can’t see audiences clamouring for what looks like a vastly inferior spin-off.
The theme was the usual NCIS theme start but it was so damn boring it gave me a bit of doubt. Any how i watched it and I didn’t mind the episode itself, but the “Septic Tanks” remark…remember we use to call the Yanks that…I nearly gagged on my tea with laughter, and the Bob Hawk remarks…who is he they will all say.. and the town names…well, who would believe there are towns with those particular names. LOL
Watched ep 1 last night only because I love William McInnes and he is just perfect. Thought it was a good start, Looking forward to the next one.
He was good wasn’t he. That part suited him I felt.
Actually he was fine I thought Mavournee Hazel was better is their part that McInnes. He was but maybe it was how his character was written a little cliche.
8 part series? This not a long term series then?
Not 22. If it does well USA I would expect more. Most streaming dramas are about 10 max.
Thanks.
