Nominations for the 2024 TV Week Logie Awards will be announced at 5pm AEST on Sunday at an event in Sydney.
This year’s awards sees key changes to categories and the judging process.
All categories announced on Sunday will be open to public voting. This expands from the traditional “Most Popular” and “Outstanding” categories. Now all merged under a single “Best” category, this sees the public voting for categories that were previously Jury only.
Broadcasters (including Streamers) were able to submit 4 names for the Gold Logie -less than ever before. Nominees were decided by Judges based on a range of criteria, but the winner will be chosen by public vote.
This also applies for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent.
20 awards named “Best” are determined by a combined score from a judging panel, viewing data and Australian public votes.
The Hall of Fame remains Jury only vote.
Sam Pang hosts the event at The Star Sydney on Sunday 18th August, screening on Seven.

Please not Hamish Blake. Enough already.
Robert Irwin – surely at least nominated for most popular new talent and maybe even win it.
Not eligible for new talent. I think Gold or Silver nom more likely.
Would love to see Ricki-Lee up for gold! Always lights up the screen.
Just 4 names put forward per network for the Gold? Why so little? So hundreds essently miss out for a chance to be nominated?
And you think hundreds are worth to be nominated for the Gold ….. hmmmm
Lol. Point taken.
I just think that 4 people per network is such a small pool to choose from. Maybe up to 10 is more reasonable.
