Gone: Camelot

Nine has dumped Camelot from Sunday to be replaced by the movie The Hangover.

Nine has dumped Camelot from its 9:30pm Sunday timeslot, to be replaced by the movie The Hangover.

The medieval drama debuted on Sunday with two episodes.

If it’s being rescheduled anywhere it’s hard to know, given Nine seems to be very selective about which Amendments it is sending out these days.

Can we expect another one after Same Name tomorrow?

  1. I was thinking the same thing that the show isn’t playing on GO! But they have actually been playing double episodes and they’ve played all 10 episodes, even cheek wikipidia or ect there are only 10 episodes and the last one ep10 describes exactly what happened last Sunday. It’s unfortunate that this will be the only season as 4 of the main characters are doing major movies next year. Also I’m not a huge fan of 9/GO! But I think people should do a little research before you go slaging off on it.

  2. What ever happened to Camelot. It’s gone without any notice to the viewers. From 9 to GO and now where? It appears whoever picked Camelot in the first place isn’t very professional. It’s ok if its not good enough for channel I can watch it on GO. But what happened to it last Sunday. It is never good policy or manners to pull a show off air without prior notifications to the viewers. There are a lot of other crap shown on this station too.

  3. I think that Ch 9 is total crap taking off a program that was advert in a series when
people take time ou to watch as I did, and follow thro to discover its not on.
We don’t all have tv guides busy lives, we expect consistency, its not the first time you really are crap organisers. Total shit that when we want to watch something
rest of week you have dull boring game shows on and renovating shows along with people professing to be master chefs, to many of these boring programs, we need movies, good series and not repeats repeats repeats
the contant advert’ re Free view is crazy since we have crap programs from years ago on there – we don’t want repeats we want new stuff we want consistency.
Now I saw the 1 & 2 episodes on computer last wk, why not the 3rd that you so stupidly put on Go. For christ sakes get it right for once.
totally annoyed and so are many other people I’ve spoken with –
if you can’t do a job rigt then don’t do it at all.

  4. If you are going to swap tv shows between your main channel 9 and GO! or Gem, please let people know by playing add like the ABC do. Whenever they swap their shows from mainstream channel 2 to any of their other digital channels, they advertise it for a week so that every one knows where to find it. I had the same problem of setting the recorder to get Razor and Camalot only to find I had Razor and The Hangover.

  5. Enjoying Camelot on GO! It’s a pity that the Fruit Loops that run free to air channels don’t like satisfying their customers, rather making the big bucks with the commercials where they rake in the big bucks with the 5 min’s of cut ins every few minutes through the TV shows! It’s unfair to people who don’t have HD TV yet! But then again Channels 10 + 9 + 7 couldn’t give 2 hoots.

  6. Nine programme director should go the same way the director of news went. Camelot is a great Show ! Who wants to watch a movie that we can all get on a CD????

Who ever decides these things is a flaming idiot!!!

    Bill Hinte.

  7. Nine…what are you doing?? I watch your channel in preference to all the others…then you go and ditch an amazing program like Camelot. Disappointing to say the least. What are you thinking…obviously you’re not in tune with your viewers. At least you thought to place in on GO, but you could have highlighted that to your viewers. If you were truely smart you would have taken on Game of Thrones…truly spectacular and worthy of winning an award.

  8. snuggled up on sofa to watch Camelot on sunday night 4th sept…and wtf…a movie and “The Hangover” to boot….not happy Jan….quite disgruntled and as it seems so are many others….not good enough Nine…why put it on in the first place if you are going to bump it after one showing…Go Figure!!!

  9. I sat up to watch the 1st episode not realizing that it went for so long even though I had to get up for work the next day. Went to watch the 2nd episode only to find out it wasn’t on. No good looking at the TV guide as it was showing that it was to be on Win not Go. Now I feel like I’ve been duped as it isn’t much point watching any more as I’ve missed too much now.

  10. Well, that’s it – I think I’m done with the networks completely now. I’d been looking forward to Camelot for months, only to miss it completely last week (my fault, but I saw zero publicity for it during the week) and now this ridiculous move! Sorry, but some of us still don’t have digital and can’t watch it. Guess I’m just going to pick up the DVDs in a couple of months.

  11. Much better than Merlin. It’s the legend as I read it in numerous books from when I was a kid. Merlin is enjoyable but fluff in comparison. As for the change to go, why, why, why. I had it set up to record as it was Fathers Day and had no idea it had gone to GO. As others have said, after such heavy promotion it is stupid to axe or move it with no notice. Big thumbs down for Nine!!!!!!

  12. Thanks a lot Channel 9 – Not. I was looking forward to the next episodes of Camelot. Did something else Sunday night, and set the PVR for 3 hours for Underbelly and Camelot. Came home to find that Hangover was on, and Camelot is on GO – therefore missed over one hour of it. The green guide and the local Sunday murdoch paper still had it at 9.30. The local Saturday paper at least had the change over, but I did not see that.

  13. Typicall of channel nine …yep you have done it again and again and again. you dont give a toss about your viewers just what money you can make . Camelot was a good show

  14. yet again channel 9 takes a great tv show off without any warning to the public way to go. its on channel Go now but wot if ppl dont have a set top box i was looking forward to tonights episode

  15. I am so upset that 9 has removed Camelot from tonights line up it was a great show. I cant stand alot of the shows they put on like underbelly, and farmer wants a wife so it was great to have a show I like on.

  16. I am confused as to why they have removed the veiwing of camelot for tonight. I was looking forward to watching it. I am seriously concidering just not watching win television fromnow on because every time i like a tv show they seem to remove it

  17. I enjoyed Camelot so much last week and being that I work nights Tuesday to Saturday it’s nice to finally have something, that I like, On at a day/time where I can watch it…

…But thanks Channel 9. You bung two episodes together last week back-to-back and then this week, Nothing! No advertisement to inform of the change From, WIN to, GO!, nothing. You really know how to keep your viewers loyal… but then again, Where are we going to go?

  18. exactly Paul. I would be happy with 10:30, but nearing 12am is a stretch with the start of the working week looming! I was captivated by the premiere of this show! If you gave this show a fair chance at a decent time slot, how would it not do well?
