Pete Evans joins Better Homes & Gardens

Pete Evans becomes "regular guest chef" in Seven lifestyle series.

Pete Evans is joining Better Homes & Gardens as a “regular guest chef.”

He will appear throughout the 2018 season alongside chefs Karen Martini and Fast Ed Halmagyi. Cooking from his home kitchen, he will offer simple family recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“I’m super excited to be joining the Better Homes and Gardens family. The show has a well-earned trust by all generations of viewers. I can’t wait to share my own family recipes with a focus on sustainable health,” he said.

His first segment airs this week where he’ll cook a  pumpkin hummus. Plus, he and wife Nicola show Johanna Griggs around their farm on the NSW North Coast.

Friday, 9 March at 7.00pm on Seven.

  1. Agree with Sully’s observation… it could very well be partly that… MKR likely has a good while to run yet but it looks like ratings there may well have peaked. Regular viewers of ‘Better Homes…’ might wonder if there is really room for three chefs on the show, even if Pete Evans is not lined up to appear every week, for the moment at least. (Perhaps another theory is that one of the current two long-term regulars may have indicated they only want to do another year or so, and this is sensible form of on-screen succession planning…?)
