The Big Bang Theory has confirmed its last ever episode to screen in the US in May.
It will wrap up on Thursday, May 16 in the US (Fri. May 17 Australian time) with an hour-long episode.
The series has been massive for CBS and Nine in Australia, notably filling the void left by the end of Two and a Half Men, also by creator Chuck Lorre.
Nine will need to ensure Australian viewers are not lagging behind in episodes for what will be second only to the Game of Thrones finale in magnitude -a Friday is not ideal for Australia, should we tip Monday May 20 right now? 7 new episodes have aired in the US so far this year, as recently as last week.
Prequel series Young Sheldon was recently renewed for a third and fourth season.
