  1. Good to finally see an air date announced for the Logies. Yes, it is a shame that shows from April 2019 until December 2020 will be “forgotten”. Yes, we know that television viewership is down, but there have been some good shows have aired since then (even in this “Covid era”) like The Newsreader, Wentworth and Fisk to name a few.

I cant wait until the voting begins soon.

  2. I don’t know how the Logies can be considered relevant anymore.
They came from a different time and place, when television had huge audiences, influence and Big stars from many genres.

“Mr Logies’ Bert has gone now, and if we’re honest, in the past years, up until they paused, they haven’t been great TV.

FTA Television audiences continue to evaporate, I believe it’s time to merge them with the AACTA awards, our version of the BAFTA’s and make it a night celebrating the film and television industry in Australia at it’s best and gently put the Logies to rest, she’s tired, done the job very well, thank you very much and goodnight.

  3. Sad that most of the shows that aired in 2019-2020 are now no longer eligible. Some good competition for 2021-22 though.

I have my fingers crossed Wakefield and Wentworth get in. They both deserve it.

  4. Hmm okay, so as I read it, quality shows such as ABC’s The Heights (aired in 2019-2020) and 10’s The Secrets She Keeps (aired in 2020) are ineligible? They’re just going to forget an entire year of television? This is why they should’ve opted for the approach done overseas (where Emmys/Golden Globes were held virtually) so that our struggling arts industry was still being rewarded and no one would be overlooked. We’re always behind the eight ball in this country.
