  1. I can’t believe no nominations for Neighbours when it’s, at the time, final show was one of the most watched shows on TV last year. There has been heaps of interest in it since it’s cancellation & then later renewal. Glad to see Sean Micallef finally recognised. Back when we could nominate I was nominating him for years but he was never up.

  2. Not Happy The Host. Mr Sam Pang wasn’t nominated for the Gold Logie Itself. With 10 & 7 supporting him, plus the Hardcore followers like ourselves. He’s been one of the most entertaining people on Television for last 10 years. A thinking Women’s Sex Symbol.. #TeamPang.
At least we get to hear from Conrad Sewell as entertainment at The Logies..

  3. I’m assuming Love Me was outside the elegibility time, otherwise you would have thought it would be heavily nominated. All the actors in this show deserved recognition from the Logies for their excellent performances.

  4. Well I am not upset with these but these are just the logie awards these arent changing the world. Yes it is nice to see Lyn McGregor and Emily Symons actually be nominated after so many years in the industry. I will admit I didnt like Wellmania. Happy to see Back Roads get nominated hope it wins. Loving all the nominated for Mystery Road. Interested to see that In Our Blood only got two nominations. But it was just ok

    1. What do you mean? Lynn McGranger is nominated every year same goes for Emily Symons and they never win. And I don’t expect them to win either.

    1. If home and away Emily Symons and Lynne mcgranger can be nominated so should Jackie Woodburne ,Stefan Dennis and Alan Fletcher they have been in neighbours and other tv shows for years.what does Stefan Dennis need to do be nominated for a gold logie he has been playing Paul Robinson and living in erinsborough most of his career and he even sang some pop songs don’t you make me feel good anyone

  5. With so few nominees 7 will be stacking the presenters list this year with everyone who has an on camera job at 7.
Was Mark Coles-Smith only nominated for Mystery Road: Origin or for The Human Revolution as well?

  6. Interesting the Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod isn’t next to Shaun Micallef’s name in the Gold and Most Popular Presenter lists. Does that meant that only the ABC nominated him and Ten didn’t?

  7. Surprised that The Living Room wasn’t nominated for Best Lifestyle show. Or that Amanda Keller wasn’t nominated for the Gold Logie. I would’ve voted for her for the Gold Logie.

  8. What’s Mystery Road? Hamish is a hyperactive big kid. Osher and Sonia too overexposed. Dr Chris Brown deserves nomination more than Julia.

  9. Forgive me if i’m wrong but how come we couldn’t decide the nominations? Years past we have always had a say in that. I guess that changed or i just forgot. There are definitely a few who have missed out who should have been given nods. As for Gold Logie 🤷🏻‍♂️

    1. A couple of years ago they changed it. Each Network submits I think 6 nominations & then it goes by ratings, popularity among other things to decide the nominations. They claim social media campaigns as the reason.

  10. Some huge eyebrow raisers there. Was there a massive campaign by the “Home and Away” fan base to get multiple “Popular Actress” nominations? Unfortunately, they’ll all cancel each other out (Kitty Flannagan will win again). It’s nice to see Lynne McGranger and Emily Symons score their first nominations (they’ll both be thrilled!). As for Gold, it has to be Julia Morris’s year. Interesting that “The Cheap Seats” beat its parent show for an “Outstanding” nod (I prefer it, to be honest, and was disappointed not to see it in the “Popular” category). I’m a bit surprised by the complete omission of “Neighbours” (but timing could have been the key there). As for “The Project”, while it hasn’t dominated the nominations in recent years like it used to, I’m still surprised it was ignored completely. They won’t even score an invitation to the event with zero nominations. Will anyone from “Neighbours” be invited?

  11. Just submitted my votes. The Most Popular New Talent was a tough choice, by name only, I had only ever heard of Amy Shark, but I don’t see juding a song contest as being an award winning job. If it were not for the photos, I would not have recognised Ayesha Madon, from Heartbreak High. I voted for her, as like the rest of the cast, they all successfully managed to play incredibly unlikable characters and that deserves an accolade!

  12. It difficult to predict. Even though Shaun is popular in the TV Tonight poll, this site has its own demographic that could skew the poll. Another site with a different culture and style could give different poll results. Also Hamish is obviously very popular. And then there’ll be the intention to celebrate the career of Leigh Sales after finishing on The 7.30 Report, which is a high rating program.

The nominations also show the growth in competition from streaming services. It’s more important than ever before to make shows that will reel in the viewers and to cater across the board in a mainstream way. I’m not going to name them, though some shows only cater for one side of the political spectrum, which inhibits potential revenue and ratings.

There shouldn’t be any roadblocks, pitfalls and obstacles in engaging with viewers on the path to ratings and revenue.

  13. Glad that Shaun Micallef is up for the Gold.

Some good noms. Some dubious ones too. It’s the Logies after all. They can’t please everyone. Lol.

    1. Would have loved to have seen David Koch an a Gold nominee… Has he ever been nominated?

Surely a more popular presenter than Leigh Sales or Osher Ginsberg or Mark Coles Smith?!

Definitely more popular than Sonia Kruger.

        1. Not sure ratings have anything to do with it – Karl won one and he’s never beaten Sunrise in the ratings.

Also wasn’t Sam Mac nominated a few years ago? Has Kochie ever been nominated?

          1. Ratings now do play a part in the nominations, but Karl had a primetime show at the time. Yes Sam Mac was nominated, since then the voting system was overhauled to better reflect viewing and not be so influenced by social campaigns. Agree it’s a shame Kochie missed out.

  14. What was the eligibility period? Devastated Safe Home didn’t get a nom and hoping it will be eligible next year. Rest all make sense, shame Kochie didn’t get a farewell nom. Or Tracy Grimshaw. Biggest snub- The Project and its presenters. Can only imagine why….

      1. If the eligibility was 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023, then how is I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here eligible for this year’s awards? Season 8 finished on 30 January 2022, while season 9 didn’t start until April 2 this year. Both seasons were shown outside the eligibility period.
