Asher Keddie has won the Gold Logie for 2013.

It was Keddie’s third nomination for TV’s top award.

The Offspring star snatched glory from Adam Hills, Carrie Bickmore, Hamish Blake, Andy Lee and Steve Peacocke.

She also scored a Silver Logie as Most Popular Actress.

Keddie was overwhelmed by the win and struggled to express her gratitude.

“I think this is for a body of work?” she asked.

“It’s not lost on me just how fortunate I am to have such generous, supportive people around me, including the wonderful Offspring family.

“I’m absolutely thrilled and so grateful and it’s such a pleasure to be working on such a wonderful Australian drama.”

Keddie continues Logie’s love affair with golden girls including Rebecca Gibney, Lisa McCune, Kate Ritchie and Georgie Parker.

But the win from the delayed broadcast was leaked by News Limited for the second year in a row.

Offspring is expected to return in May.

  1. The Logies may need a best/popular/outstanding overseas personality/program on aussie tv. That should solve a few issues that folk have mentioned and still keep the home awards for the home crowd

  2. This is so weird, an Aussie actress winning the Gold Logie for consistant high quality performances and there’s me thinking it is a trash can award for tossers.

Well done Asher Keddie, a compelling screen actress for bringing quality back to the “popular” Logies..

NB note to blokes, stop being tossers, learn to do some good stuff
