Well Done Bruce! Have been a great admirer of your work since you joined Ten Melbourne after transferring from Adelaide. You are one of the greats of Aussie TV…and best broadcasters in the world.
Very worthy winner of this award, so well spoken and genuinely came across in his speech, as others have said such a big part of a lot of our sporting memories by being their with us in our lounge rooms all these years as we experienced those sporting events, well deserved.
Very well deserved.Congrats Bruce.Certainly special.I wish you all the best in your health mate.
Such a worthy winner. He is such a world class act.
Well Deserved! Congratulations Bruce! It was ‘Special’
Such a ell deserved winner. Well done & congratulations on a great honor Bruce!
So well deserved. He could call any sport & smash it.
His speech was fabulous
A worthy winner. He brings athletics alive during the Olympics. I would have loved Caroline Jones to have been recognised but hard to argue with the Bruce decision.
Bruce is a very worthy winner. Just a shame that unless the rules are changed Caroline Jones will never be in the HOF.
Oh my God!! Because of course it’s Bruce!! What an incredible talent!! He is (was?) absolutely the soundtrack to most of my sporting memories. I could imagine what it was like in the room David, because his ever humbling energy, warmth, respect, unequalled sporting knowledge and unwavering professionalism beamed right through the telly into my living room. Not surprising at all… as this has always been the case with Bruce. What a dead set Special legend.
